October 15 Weekend Trail Report

This is a beautiful time of year to be out in the Foothills - tan grasses and a variety of colors on the trees and bushes spotting the hills - and not too hot to enjoy them!

Ridge to Rivers trail crews have been hard at work lately, with the attached photos documenting their most recent efforts - reconstruction of the turnpike/puncheon bridge burned in the Claremont Fire on 5-Mile Gulch Trail, replacement of old, rotting retaining walls on Cottonwood Creek Trail, and bank stabilization along Toll Road Trail.
